My mission
It’s no secret, I love my work. But for me, it’s about the real satisfaction that comes from working with families to achieve closure when the time comes. I think everyone has a mission in life and mine’s easy, if you believe in what you do, which in my case is helping people, great things can happen.
My values
I think we all have a passion that drives us and this is mine. Since fighting for equality for many years, I’ve put into practice what I believe, which is that a death is a death regardless of race, sexuality, or gender status. Gay or straight, every person has the right to dignity as they come to the end of their life. I believe in equality – people are who they are, it’s as simple as that.
For me, being a celebrant is an ongoing journey, touching so many lives and helping others at a time they need it most, I’m happy to have been sharing this journey with so many others for a while, and I’d like to be part of your journey too.
