Like all important milestones in life such as births and weddings, it helps to plan for such events to go according to your personal wishes, including death. Whether you want to plan just a little, or make extensive arrangements, let me help you from start to finish – and beyond.

I created a book designed to help in times like these, to give every family peace of mind that everything is in place. The book is easy to understand because it’s not a legal document drawn up by a bunch of lawyers. It simply lays out your final wishes of what you want to happen when the time comes.

An end-of-life doula typically offers support to the friends and family of the elderly, dying, or recently dead. An end-of-life doula educates and empowers individuals to make decisions on their own end-of-life care including final arrangements.

As a funeral celebrant, I help you plan an order of service and ensure that it reflects how you want to celebrate the life of the person to be remembered. I can help with poems, readings, songs and hymns as well as co-ordinate with people you’d like to play a part in the ceremony.

The focus of my service is remembering and celebrating the life of the person who has died and not the religious teachings that a church, temple, or mosque would concentrate on. What’s said and shared during a civil funeral is a personalised service decided by family and friends. I understand you may have many questions at this time, please feel free to contact me. As a member of The Australian Centre for Grief and Bereavement, I can help provide a number of resources for the bereaved.
